Hilary Kole The Judy Garland Project

This album was released a year ago, but we wanted to spotlight once again.  Hilary has reimagined some classic songs, and she brings them into the 21st century with her sweeping vocals.

Hilary Kole The Judy Garland ProjectI like how these remakes sound due to the superior recording equipment we have today.  Oh, and the musicians are pretty good also.

In case you don’t know about Hilary Kole, she is a New York native who studied at the Manhattan School of Music then started singing career soon thereafter.

Kole has performed all over New York, including Jazz at Lincoln CenterCarnegie Hall, and Birdland.  She has also worked with Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, and Nancy Wilson.

With several albums under her belt, Kole is currently entertaining audiences with her vocal stylings.

If you like the old school big band style, Kole is a must see.

Hilary Kole will be in Minnesota on February 10th, performing with the Minnesota Orchestra.  They will be performing songs from the Great American Songbook.

February 13th – She will be in Tokyo at the Cotton Club Tokyo.

On March 3rd-4th, Kole will be performing the music of James Bond with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic at the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts.
